Saratthi has a mission to be eco-friendly and reduce carbon footprint while knowing the constraints on road. Saratthis’ compact e-bike fits in well into a small car. Your Saratthi will lay a Mat in the boot of your car over which the e-bike is placed. The e-bike has experiential value, enjoy the experience and the journey with your Saratthi.

GLOBAL WARMING

Project Prithvi was envisioned in light of global warming and the constraint of carbon emission through existing vehicles. We understand that existing vehicles cannot be done away with easily, hence we support not just our mission but also the customer by reaching the customer of an electric bike within a few minutes, to drive the customer in the comfort of their car. The customer is also involved in investing in this way, for a green ecosystem. It first takes baby steps to reach a larger goal. We hope to inspire our customers by this, in becoming carbon-free.

As per the United Nations, climate change is caused by human activities and threatens life on earth as we know it. With rising greenhouse gas emissions, climate change is occurring at rates much faster than anticipated. Its impacts can be devastating and include extreme and changing weather patterns and rising sea levels. According to this report issued by the World Meteorological Organization, there is a 66% likelihood that the annual average near-surface global temperature between 2023 and 2027 will be more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels for at least one year. Thus, we believe that every little choice in urban mobility covers some of the distance.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability has been the cornerstone not only for the business idea but also for its implementation and that’s how Project Prithvi was conceived.

The system is such that the business is completely driven by this core idea. No drivers' are encouraged with a booking till the time this complies.

The undeniable impact that corporate behaviour has on our natural environment is a growing concern for many stakeholders.

In Saratthi, every driver is equipped with battery operated cycle that would help in his commute to reach the customers location.
  • We are actively working to understand how much of the operating assets can be recycled.
  • Work has already begun in preparing a GHG inventory that represents a true and fair accounting of the emissions through the use of standardized approaches and principles.
  • Saratthi with the Project Prithvi initiative aims to nullify our carbon emissions by planting trees. We call it Project Prithvi because trees not only absorb CO2 but make communities more beautiful, improve quality, and provide numerous economic and social benefits.
